2019 Niagara Icewine Festival

From January 11-27, 2019, celebrate one of Niagara’s finest goods – Canadian Icewine. The main festival takes place at the Scotiabank Convention Centre, where you can find a hub of tastings, food pairings, and live entertainment. Outside of the main event, there are a variety of associated events to enjoy including the elegant Niagara Icewine Gala or purchase a discovery pass and experience eight pairings at your choice of over 40 wineries across the Niagara Region. Outdoor Skating

It doesn’t get much more Canadian than strapping on a pair of skates and heading out for a glide around the pond! Whether you enjoy hockey, figure skating or want to check the experience off your bucket list, Niagara has conveniently located rinks around the region for all to enjoy. The Winter Festival of Lights

The Holiday season may be over but the festival of lights is here for a little bit longer! While the stunning light display is enjoyable with Christmas Carols in the background the end of January adds an additional feature that’s adds to the beauty. With the harsher elements of winter often hitting later in the season, January provides an exceptional experience as the lights become ice covered and the sparkling snow reflects the glow of each bulb. The Festival continues until January 31st so grab a hot chocolate and take a stroll through the illuminated winter wonderland beautifully accented by the roar of icy Niagara Falls
